The special picture frame "Adona" is held in an interesting color combination of gold on turquoise. The frame strip with chalk base is covered with leaf metal in the best handwork and rubbed through to the color-coordinated poliment. The profile, grained in fine lines, contrasts beautifully with the dark speckles of old frame tradition. They provide an antique touch. At the top edge, the bold turquoise comes through and contrasts against the warm gold tone of the profile behind and the inside edge. This gives the classic picture frame an exceedingly sculptural effect and perfectly visually separates paintings from their surroundings.
