Other than the picture search, where we are searching for a specific picture, you can also send us works to reproduce.
For instance, if you would like to have a MasterPrint of an original in your possession or even of your own creation, then you can order it from us. We have excellent scanners and can digitize your original in the usual high quality. Once the picture is digitized and in our system, you can find it in your personal gallery that only you can access. There, you can treat the painting like every other work in our catalog. You can configure it according to your wishes and then order the print.
We offer this service to you free of charge! The only costs for you are those for sending the original(s) to us. You will then obviously receive the original back together with the finished art print.
Obviously it's a different situation if you don't own the picture yourself and if it's displayed in a gallery. In this case, the first important thing is obviously that the legal situation is ensured: 70 years after the death of the creator, artwork is freed from copyright restrictions. So if the artist hasn't been dead for at least 70 years, then you will first need the required usage rights and licenses which you have to present to us. However, this alone doesn't digitize the picture. The advisable approach would be to commission a very good photographer with making a digital photo of the painting. You can then send us the appropriate data from which we can then create your desired print.
