Decorative frames

Our range includes almost 1,000 different decorative frames – from timelessly simple to exclusively handcrafted models. There's something for every style, every artwork and every requirement. Each frame is custom-made for your piece so that your picture always looks its best. Please note that orders with frames may take a little longer – for us, care and quality are always more important than speed.

All our frames are crafted by hand. Small paint marks or traces on the back are not defects, but visible signs of genuine craftsmanship – you're holding a unique item, not a mass product. Especially with ornate models, the mitre joints are lovingly retouched by our specialists using wax and special paints for the most harmonious transitions.

We want you to find the perfect frame. That's why we offer a unique sample service: you can order frame samples to your home, view them at your leisure, and simply return them – of course, we refund the purchase price. For details, see "Order samples".

Choosing the right frame depends on your artwork: For stretched canvases, we recommend a frame with at least 20 mm rebate depth, so the stretcher and canvas disappear elegantly. For large, glazed works, we suggest a more robust model. If you are unsure or if important measurements are missing, just ask us – we'll give you honest, personal advice.

Also consider proportions: a delicate frame works well for smaller pieces, while larger pictures need more presence and stability. That's why our range is deliberately broad – from affordable frames to exclusive baroque models with genuine ornaments. In the end, the result should always be harmonious and durable, no matter if subtle or magnificent.
