This work is part of a series of six paintings entitled "Windows on Space". The works in this series are inspired by large paintings I created for a solo exhibition in 1987. The famous sculptor Armand Vaillancourt wrote in my Livre d'or: "I went to see Guy's exhibition twice in one evening... "c'est ti assez fort". Let's keep creating. Let's continue to fight alone, but above all together for a collective project.
For his part, the columnist wrote in the Journal Liaison St-Louis on 30 September 1987: "(...) Guy Boulianne welcomes me in the small office adjoining the small exhibition room. He is currently exhibiting paintings inspired by a dream he had that sent him into the cosmos. These are colours bursting out in all directions against a black background.
