The decorative frame Nele, which belongs to the Alexandria series and seems to allow an association with ancient Egypt, seems to come directly from the treasuries of the pharaohs. The design of this frame Nele was no less pompous than it was with the Egyptian kings. A showpiece in strong, shiny gold was created on a particularly proud width of 155 mm and the highest point of the carvings at 70 mm. The designers clearly enjoyed creating a golden, ornamented frame that outshines everything else. But not the motif to be framed here. This may well adapt to the majestic character of Nele. First of all, of course, pictures of Egyptian art come to mind - if you like, you can definitely frame Ramses, Cleopatra or Tutankhamun and they will look great in them. But other styles can also be harmoniously combined with Nele - salon painting or Rococo and Baroque painters find a home in this gold frame. While four narrower strips are provided with no or with narrow decor, the main focus is on the middle strip with its large-format elements, which give Nele the royal style.
