The frame series Senelar presents with the model Lisbeth another narrow, graceful gold frame that will delight numerous art lovers. The total width in the front view is 20 mm, while the height of the frame projects into the room at 25 mm. After the bar runs straight from the wall to the front, the frame flattens out at the level of the transition to the front in such a way that the highest point rises up in the form of a round bar that curves forward. This part is held in a bright, shiny gold. The designers also introduced a craquelé, a popular effect in art to make something appear antique. Craquelé is a kind of hairline crack that often occurs in paintings themselves, but also on gold frames. On Lisbeth, this effect is very delicately integrated into the gold color, which nevertheless gives it a classic character. The projecting round bar creates an extra shine through its shape before it retreats towards the wall and makes room for the lower ornamental bar. The gold that makes up the background of the decorative elements was chosen here in a darker shade. Spread over it, the funny ornaments play an impressive role. Small, short tendrils with potbellied petals line up like a chain here and frame the inner part of Lisbeth. They are designed in shiny gold, which shows accents from the underlying red patina.
