Anna Viklund has been working with art since 2007, creating participative public mosaic art. She allows everyone to participate, and the result can elevate an entire neighborhood. In 2019, Anna embarked on a journey to explore her artistic expression, marking the beginning of her abstract style. Drawing from her travels and immersion in diverse cultures, her art is influenced by the vibrant cultural landscapes of southern Europe and Latin America. Her approach is deeply intuitive, guided by a curiosity to express herself authentically. She explores various mediums such as textile art, opening up a new realm of creative possibilities. As one of this year's Formex Design Talents, Anna is an emerging designer who recently showcased her latest work, including tufted rugs, oversized flower sculptures, and decorative trays. With a focus on modern aesthetics and traditional craftsmanship, her work captures the essence of Scandinavian design while pushing creative boundaries.
