Painting frame Ricarda

Ivory with silver edge • Width: 52 mm • Height: 40 mm

When two bright components, such as ivory and silver, appear together, it gives a classic look and finesse, as presented by the picture frame Ricarda. While the 40-millimeter-height frame protrudes into the room, its width is 52 millimeters, giving it a modern shape. Three different strips form the whole, the outermost of which has a straight, rectangular shape. This is followed by the other two strips, which are both the same size and the same shape. They are curved inwards and almost form a staircase that tapers towards the interior of the picture. These two inner moldings are enriched with a beautiful bright silver, which makes this part of the frame to shine. If you look closely, you almost recognize brushstrokes that make the course of the wood clear and are presented in slightly darker nuances. Exactly this color nuance is recorded again in the outer bar - here the noble color of ivory was applied in skillful effects.
