An abstract structure from mathematics. Real and imaginary parts of the complex function 1/z - reality and fantasy.
Drawn traditionally on paper for the first time - for real. Geometric drawing - axonometry with ruler and compass. Graphite pencil, watercolour pencils, biros.
The outlines of these functions are circles whose radii decrease reciprocally with height and which are aligned at a point on the circumference. The towers of reality and fantasy can be turned into each other. I often call them trumpets - there are 4 trumpets, two blue and two red, each opening into an infinite circle.
