The painting depicting the two cut-off sunflowers was painted by the famous artist Vincent van Gogh in the late summer of 1887. Of all the works that Vincent van Gogh created, the images depicting the motif of the sunflower are among his best-known works , He deliberately chose a blue background for the sunflowers, as he himself said, to depict a "symphony in blue and yellow". The cool background also makes the flowers shine and they look even brighter. The yellow of the two sunflower blossoms makes the painting look friendly and bright. Today, you can admire the painting in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
