Phantalis Octavia Zoya Ludewig, or Phantalis for short, paints watercolours, oil paintings and drawings. After growing up in Berlin, she spent three years in the French-speaking part of Switzerland and finally moved to the south of France.rnHer works are rich in contrast and colour, ranging from experimental drawings with minimalist features to emotional, metaphorical paintings in oil or acrylic.rnHer central themes are intra-social and interpersonal relationships, social issues and the power and weakness of our thoughts.rnHer home city of Berlin has strongly influenced and moulded her in her exploration of social issues.
