Painting Frames "Ruth" |
Gold • Serie: Victoria • Width: 65mm • Height: 36mm |
The dream of a gold frame is the Ruth model, which the Victoria picture frame series presents under its ornate decorative frames. Light, shiny gold and dark brown, matt elements as an ornamental background and delimiting lines form the color aspect of this frame. Four different strips form the overall picture of Ruth in the front view, whereby the highest part of the real wood strip is 36 mm and the overall strip sequence is a proud 65 mm wide. It starts very narrow on the outer frame, where a delicate double bar in shiny gold is a placeholder for the edge. After this simplicity, the designers immediately followed an eye-catching ornament bar. Leaf-like elements adorn the bar on dark brown primer. Horizontally, narrowly shaped, they follow the frame with the leaf tip to the right. The gold of Ruth shows itself in its most beautiful shine on the inwardly curved central bar. As a special design element, so-called craquelé was inserted here in a very delicate manner, a network of cracks known from oil paintings. A double narrow bar in gold finally clears the way for the final ornament bar. This shows an alternation of round and floral elements that appear like a small relief in the overall view. |
