Painting Frames Cosima

Painting Frames "Cosima"

Holzleiste Braun • Serie: Boston • Width: 13mm • Height: 15mm
From the Boston frame series comes an excellent wooden frame that draws attention with the name Cosima. But not only the name attracts the art lover, but rather its great properties that the frame brings as a real wooden frame. Starting with the very delicate dimensions of just 15 mm in height and delicate 13 mm in the front view, Cosima is definitely one of the decorative frames that offer a touch of a nifty border to an art print. Many art lovers appreciate this type of frame, which lives up to its name and frames a picture, but does not overwhelm or distract from the motif. The color of the wooden strip, brown, given by the designers is exactly what the viewer sees when looking at Cosima. The bar shows its wood properties with a strong grain that is distributed over the wood. The grain elements show themselves as contrasting and haptically dynamic, like dark notches in the wood. On the other hand, the color of the wood in the upper round ledge is light, with a very subtle reddish tone that is reminiscent of beech, alder or cherry. After a narrow groove, this is followed by the inner end strip, which in turn has got a darker wood tone. The viewer thinks of walnut or oak. The interplay of the wood tones makes the Cosima frame special. Art connoisseurs like to use this coloring to frame motifs with the theme of nature.
