| With the frame series of the same name, Vincent van Gogh has received a small monument in the series of picture frame series. The Van Gogh series presents another model, Maren, that is almost predestined to decorate the Impressionist's works. And the frame succeeds not only because of its beautiful golden color and because of its delicate dimensions of 27x24 mm, but also above all thanks to the excellently introduced strips with various ornaments. From the wall, a small gold-colored level emerges on the outer edge, which swings slightly upwards. Here, the top view shows a rather wide bar with golden decorative elements on a brown background. Two different tendril structures are lined up alternately here and surround the Maren frame like a flower chain. The following strip is then very simple, an inward-arching, smooth strip in shiny gold. The gold is accompanied by very subtle brown lines that move parallel to the frame and create a small optical structure. A narrow brown bar borders the inner border: a narrow gold bar and a border with closely spaced beads that form a chain. |
